A fairytale world on stilts
Adding fairytales to the world is what Jelleke Jorritsma loves.
So every now and then she likes to put on her stilts to create fairytales that are larger than life.
Jelleke graduated in 2001 as a theatre designer at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (University of the Arts) in Utrecht.
Since then she does not only work as a theatre designer,
but also as a performer on stilts, performing in her own creations.
The acts of Jelicious distinguish themselves because of the imaginative and detailed designs of the costumes and the extra high stilts (1,50 meters).
The acts of Jelicious are known to be very feminine and elegant. Jelicious only works with experienced and passionate (stilt)performers.
